A complete residential renovation of the Historic Nabisco Cookie Factory/Purse Co. Building located two blocks north of the ballpark, across the street from Irma's, and a few short blocks away from Toyota Center, Brown Convention Center, the Wortham, Party on Plaza, the Metro rail line and all the social excitement downtown Houston has to offer. The former cookie factory was designed in 1910 by A.G. Zimmerman, Nabisco's corporate architect. The Chenevert facility served as the company's southwest headquarters for baking, packaging and shipping until 1949, when Nabisco sold the property to Purse and Co., a wholesale furniture dealer. The building was designated a City of Houston Landmark in 1998.
